Shipping Policy
Big Beaver ships freshly roasted beans across Canada. Orders are typically roasted and packed within 1–3 business days of purchase. We provide the following delivery methods:
- In Store Pickup
- Local Delivery
- Shipping
In Store Pickup - Free
If you select In Store Pickup at checkout, we will send an email notification when your order is ready to be picked up.
Local Delivery - $3.00 to Free
Big Beaver offers local delivery to addresses within 35 km of the roastery. Orders are delivered within 3 business days. There is a flat delivery fee of $3.00, or delivery is free over $49.99. Select Local delivery at checkout and include any buzzer codes, gate info, or safe-drop instructions. We provide an ETA by email and complete contactless doorstep delivery.
If we can’t access the location, we’ll hold the order for pickup or re-deliver for $5.00. Severe weather, road closures, or operation disruptions may shift delivery windows; we’ll notify you if timing changes.
Shipping - Calculated at Checkout
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your parcel leaves our roastery. Please note that fulfilment and carrier transit times don’t include weekends or statutory holidays.
Shipping options & rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and service level offered by our carrier partners. If you qualify for a promotion such as free shipping over [$X], it will be applied automatically. We currently only ship within Canada.
Please double check your delivery address at checkout. Orders returned to us due to incomplete or incorrect addressing can be re-shipped once the correct address and an additional shipping fee are confirmed. If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received the parcel, allow 24 hours, and then contact us within 7 days so we can investigate with the carrier.
Deliveries to P.O. boxes and remote/rural addresses are supported via eligible services from our carriers, though transit times may be longer and surcharges may apply. Weather events and carrier disruptions can also impact delivery timelines; we’ll always do our best to help, but once a parcel is in transit, timing is outside our control.
We take care to pack coffee so it arrives fresh and protected. If a shipment arrives damaged or incorrect, email us with your order number and photos within 7 days of delivery. Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been fulfilled.
